Organization Chart for the Engineering and Construction Departments.

In 1946 the Engineering and Construction Departments were headed by the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer. Below the Chief Engineer were the Drafts men, construction formen, timekeepers, chief surface surveyor, chief mine surveyor, water and property engineer, and the transportation forman. Under the construction forement is the assistant foreman, carpenters, masons, labor forman, shopmen, paint formen, painters, stock-keeper, and watchmen. Under the Chief Surface Surveyors are the surface surveyors. Under the Chief Mine Surveyor are mine surveyors and roadmen. Under the Water and Property Engineer, is the fire chief, water forman, pipe fitters, and property. Under the Transportation Foremen is the shovel operators, truck drivers, and cat. operators.
