Scope and Contents
The Yuill/Sundstrom papers consists of 20 boxes of materials of professional and personal projects of Camille Yuill and her daughter, Jessie Yuill Sundstrom. The materials were created or utilized by one or both of the women during their careers. The materials include papers, manuscripts, maps, photographs, negatives, CD-Roms, DVDs, VHS tapes and oversize documents.

This collection is housed at the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center with no restrictions to access. The collection may be utilized during normal operating hours or by appointment.

Twenty-eight photographs of miscellaneous places and events throughout South Dakota. Notable images include the Missouri River; rodeos; the State Sanatorium in Sanator; the Sutton Ranch in Onida; Wilbur Foss-a fiddler from Yankton; the State Capitol buiding; the cave where Jesse James hid in Palisades State Park near Garretson; historical markers; June Stenson in a fire lookout tower; Governor William Janklow receiving a book; contestants at the North American Finals of Buffalo Chip Flipping during Pierre's Oahe Days; buffalo meat; Prairie Village west of Madison; county courthouses; boy scouts; farming; fireworks; a rest stop along I-90; the Bismarck Trail; and the Duchenaux Museum.
