The Allan J. Clark Papers include documents created or utilized by Clark during his time working for the Homestake Mining Company. The materials are dated between 1896 and 1932 with the bulk of material dating between 1909 and 1917. Documents include annual cost reports, correspondence, drawings, records of experiments conducted by Clark and others, research files on mines in other countries, and published works regarding the use of different forms of energy.

Abstract Goldberg Grocery Company, originally called Big Horn Grocery, was the first grocery store in Deadwood. It was located at 670 and 672 Main Street. The grocery store operated from 1876 to 1990. During its lifetime the store had five owners: Jacob Goldberg (1976-1934), James O’Hara (1934-1946), Arnold G.
